Congratulations to my Buyer-Clients on purchasing this newly constructed home in the Fauntleroy neighborhood, which was built to the highest standards by Denizen Development! This property was listed at $1,569,900 and my clients saved almost $70K on the purchase price.
Interesting to note in June 2017, the Seller (Builder) purchased an existing home in disrepair on a 9,988 sqft lot for $800,000. This house was demo'd and the lot short-platted. Thereafter, 2 similar homes were built on two contiguous 5,000 sqft lots and each listed for $1.6M. The other similar contiguous home sold for $1,550,000 in May 2019.
I know the builder and was the first broker to walk-through the homes in April 2019. I've been saying $1.5M for months. In West Seattle, generally new construction (depends if there is a water view) with about 3,200 sqft is approx. $1.6M to $1.8M north of the Junction (California & Alaska). South of the Junction, it's approximately $1.4M to $1.5M-ish.
